Life Transitions
Transitions mean change. Transitions can be predictable or unpredictable. Life transitions for millennials can range from being a student to working professional, moving out for the first time, relationship changes and more. Change is inevitable in life, but sometimes we can have difficulty adjusting to change or sudden shifts. With change may come resistance. As a change happens it may close one door and open another. It may feel unfamiliar and sometimes overwhelming. Sometimes there are situations that are out of our control. Allow me to help you cope with life transitions that you may be going through.

+ How can you help me with life transitions?
A transition in life means change, and it is very closely related to grief and loss. There may be some grief, anxiety, or depression experienced during a transition, which I can definitely help with due to my experience with grief counseling. I am able to help you cope with the difficulties of adjusting to changes in life. I am also a millennial myself, so I have experienced several life transitions in my years!
+ Can you help with Adjustment Disorder?
Yes! I have experience with helping those who struggle with adjustment disorder. I work together with my clients to get them back to their regular routine with goal-setting. I also help my clients understand why a particular event may have effected them so much.
+ When will I know therapy is working?
Therapy will be a process! I recommend at least 8-12 weeks of therapy to see any significant results, but results may come sooner.
