Individual Therapy for Millennials

Are you a young adult struggling with your identity, meaning of life, having anxiety or depression? Are you feeling like no one understands you? Are you feeling lost in life or have low motivation? Are you having a quarter-life crisis? Millennials are young adults between the ages of 20-40 years old and born between 1981-1996 (Generation Y). I enjoy working with young adults who are struggling to find themselves, their identity, their path, and their confidence. I have been there! Iā€™m a millennial too.

Common Challenges that Millennials Face

  • Adulting - life transitions (high school to college, or college to working life), adjusting to increased independence, and time management

  • Disconnection and Loneliness - Difficulty maintaining meaningful relationships, feelings of isolations and loneliness, difficulty showing your authentic self, moving to a new city

  • Low Self-Worth and Sense of Meaning - Lacking confidence, direction, purpose, or self-esteem

  • Procrastination and Avoidance - Indecisiveness, difficulty maintaining focus or goals, putting off hard decisions for later, avoiding uncomfortable ideas (employment, relationships, school work)

  • Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Concerns - difficulty managing emotions (anger, anxiety, depression, new mental health diagnosis, difficulty expressing emotions

+ How do I know if we are a good fit?

I always set up a free 15-minute phone consultation for you to ask any questions you may have for me. You can self-schedule a consultation with me here. Finding a therapist of good fit may be the most difficult part of the process! I suggest allowing 1-3 sessions to see how it feels. If it is not a good fit with me, that is okay! You are in control of when you want to stop therapy sessions. See my cancellation policy here.

+ Do you only work with Millenials?

No! I work with adults of all ages. My background is working with the terminally ill and their families for grief and loss. I have worked with individuals from 18 yrs old to 107 years old.

+ Do you work with couples?

No, at this time I am only providing therapy to individuals and not couples.
